Grade School (grades 1-5)

Children in 1st - 5th grade enjoy two completely different learning formats.

At 9:30 a.m., children start Sunday morning in the Worship Service with their parents for the first portion of the service.  After the pastor prays for the children, they then may leave the Sanctuary to attend the Children's Sermon Series;  or they may remain with their families in the Sanctuary. The sermon series content is loosely tied to the pastor's sermon in the Sanctuary. Children rejoin their families in the Sanctuary immediately following the sermon.

At 10:50 a.m. during the school year, Kids’ Celebration kicks off with vibrant worship led by the KC Band.  Large format teaching
of God’s Word takes place as trained teachers use creative teaching methods to present God's biblical truth to grade school-aged children in a relevant and engaging way. After the large group teaching, the children break into small groups where the main thrust of the day's lesson is discussed. Small group shepherds help the children find tangible applications from God's Word to use in their everyday lives.
