About High Point Church High Point Church is a non-denominational, evangelical Christian fellowship that began its community-based ministry in 1961 as Middleton Baptist Church. In 1991 the fellowship moved into a new facility at our present site and became High Point Church. The Senior Pastor will join a ministry team of dedicated staff, Board of Elders and Council of Deacons and Deaconesses with a goal of equipping the congregation to use their God-given gifts to joyfully serve others. In addition, dozens of volunteers lead and support the ministries of our church. Together, we seek to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ who will dispense His love to families, the community, and the world. High Point Church is situated on a 17 acre campus on the west side of Madison and includes an accredited Christian school for grades PK-8. Our facility includes an 800 seat sanctuary, Christian education area complete with gymnasium, and a large library. In the fall of 2000, the building was expanded when "The Micah Center" was completed serving as our core Christian adult education and fellowship center.
