Trinity Evangelical Divinity School
Extension Site

Through
a partnership with Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, local Madison
and south-central Wisconsin students work on a Master of Arts in
Christian Studies degree from Trinity without leaving their jobs or
ministry context. Courses are offered in convenient evening and weekend
formats and are taught by Trinity’s own professors as well as
well-qualified local adjuncts from the Madison area. Courses are
available for credit or for audit.

CM 5000: Introduction to Pastoral Counseling
An Introduction to the principles, techniques, and theories of counseling with emphasis on counselor characteristics, helping skills, the various types of pastoral counseling, the most common problems, and the distinctiveness of Christian counseling.

OT 5100: English Bible: The Pentateuch
This course explores the Pentateuch (Genesis—Deuteronomy) with emphasis on historical and hermeneutical questions, the la-grace question and the Ten Commandments, sacrifices, atonement, and the forgiveness of sin, the covenant, formation of the Hebrew canon, and critical analysis of the documentary hypothesis of the Pentateuch.
MA/CS Biblical Studies elective.
