Family Life Connection (FLC) is a home-building ministry impacting families of various ages and stages – from couples without kids, single parents and kid-filled families.
The purpose of FLC is to connect families with one another and to encourage families to grow in Christ, serve each other and the community.

in Rhinelander, WI for a weekend of winter family camp! There is fun
for the whole family!
When: Feb. 24-26th, 2012, Friday evening to Sunday afternoon
Where: Fort Wilderness, 6180 Wilderness Trail, Rhinelander, WI 800-338-3678
Lodging at Fort: The Inn at Fort Wilderness featuring motel-like rooms with a private bath. 4 or 6 person rooms; 4 person rooms feature double bed and trundle bed, 6 person rooms feature double bed, bunk bed and trundle bed. All linens and towels provided as part of room. 1 family per room.
Meals included at Fort: 5 meals, including all Saturday meals, Sunday breakfast and lunch served at the camp's dining hall. Outdoor activities at Fort: Snow shoeing, cross country skiing, horse rides, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tubing (sledding on inner tubes), broomball, ice skating, and the Vepa Kelkka (Finnish whip sled) on Spider Lake.
Indoor activities at Fort: Canteen (snack shop with food, candy, ice cream and hot cocoa), Camp Grounds (full service coffee shop).
Speaker: Michael Lane, Fort Wilderness's Director of Science Education. Michael is a former high school biology teacher and curriculum developer at the Shedd Aquarium (Chicago).
Cost per head: $127 ages 12 and up, $89 ages 3 to 11.
What to bring:
Bible, notebook, pen Winter jacket Gloves, mittens, hat, scraf, etc. Ski pants (slick, waterproof pants that don't stay wet if they get snow on them) Snow pants Boots Warm socks Long underwear Flashlight Toiletries (no shampoo/conditioner/lotion supplied with rooms)
Optional:
Your own cross country skis Camera or video camera
Equipment: Fort has skis, snow shoes, broomball brooms, etc. so you don't need to bring any equipment to participate in the outdoor activities. Skis and horse rides have small fees to facilitate extra cost (ski maintenance and hay for the horses) and to insure room on the horse rides.
Thursday Morning Men@Work
A year-round manuscript or topical Bible study meeting the second and fourth Thursday mornings (7:00 – 8:00 a.m.) of the month at Yola's Cafe (494 Commerce Dr. in Madison). Tuesday Evening Women's Book Study

FLC Gatherings FLC Gatherings are a series of large group learning and fellowship times that include biblical-based teaching, discussion and support from mentor couples.
Community Outreach FLC does a Community Outreach with a Spring and Fall clean-up in partnership with community advocacy ministries.
Social Events
There’s plenty of fun in MCF! Lots of social activities are planned throughout the year including events such as the Easter Eggstravaganza, outdoor movie night, Christmas party, ice cream socials, Mallards game, etc.
