Adult Christian Education
HPC offers many different Adult Christian Education opportunities.

Adult Bible Fellowships
   Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) are mid-sized classes (5-50 adults) which combine both “Bible” and “Fellowship” during the 70 minutes that they meet, on Sunday mornings after Worship Celebration (10:50 a.m.).
   We have many classes, each with their own set of hosts and teacher. The hosts facilitate the group during a time for getting to know one another, for praying for one another, and caring for one another.
   Adequate time will be given for a meaningful, interactive lesson from the Scriptures. This takes the form of either a Bible-book study or a topical study.
   We are excited about the potential for those who participate to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ, together as family.

Do you want to learn how to make “your love … abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight”? (Phil 1:9) Join us this semester in an Adult Bible Fellowship!

Explore High Point Church is a 3 week introduction to HPC. It will help you get to know our pastor, understand how HPC works and know how to get connected. The Explore class will connect with Christian Spirituality (3 weeks) and Preparing for Membership (6 weeks), classes on our beliefs which are pre-requisites for membership. Classes are a mixture of teaching and small group discussion. Leaders: Pastor Nic Gibson & Lloyd Biddle. 12 weeks.

Knowing God’s Will for Your Life Learning a liberating approach to making decisions that please God. Leader: Dietrich Gruen. 6 weeks: Part 1 Cost: $15

Seeking Him: Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival Growing closer to God. Experiencing a revived relationship with Christ, freedom from unholy passions, and joy in serving Him. Leader: Deborah Biddle. 24 weeks. Limit of 12 participants. Cost: $18

Old Testament Narrative: God’s Story Reading God’s story for a richer understanding of God, our spiritual history, and our discipleship. Leader: Kevin Chau. 24 weeks.

Isaiah: God’s Plan and Promise Understanding God’s nature, His sovereignty, righteousness, justice, mercy, and His promise to believers. Leader: Bill Stevenson. 24 weeks.

The Psalms: Heartbeat of God’s People We will learn to praise and pray, in the reality of life as it is here on earth. Leader: Bill Taylor. 24 weeks.

Book of Ecclesiastes Manuscript Bible Study is an in-depth, interactive study of Biblical text designed to discover what God is saying and how it applies in our lives. Leaders: Mark Finley and Mark Cooper. 12 weeks.
