Celebration Choir
The Celebration Choir sings for designated Sunday services, in seasonal musicals, concert events, and at special community events. Rehearsals are held in Micah E on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., with additional rehearsals scheduled as needed for special performances. All singers, regardless of experience and ability, are encouraged to praise God with the voices He gifted them with. Your music is pleasing to His ear!
Each rehearsal is approached as a worship experience. Quality music, learned through good teaching, training, and mentoring in an effectively run rehearsal, opens the performer to a deeper relationship with God. One main emphasis with the choir has been to raise the personal level of each individual musician, as well as the entire group. Pedagogically, this increases each musicians’ independence, allowing them to learn and experience the power of music on their own rather than learning by rote. Singing a wide variety of music and languages, we have explored spirituals, hymns, praise, gospel, and classical music.
AWANA programs are available for children during choir rehearsals.

Worship Team
High Point Church offers “blended” (a mixture of traditional and contemporary worship songs) services every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Congregational worship – including a variety of music, prayer, and attention to God’s Word – expresses our love for God and our desire for His greater presence in our lives. The Worship Team includes both vocalists and instrumentalists who accompany congregational singing and provide special music in the Sunday morning services.
Auditions are on-going for additional vocalists and instrumentalists.

Kid's Celebration Band
The Kids’ Celebration Band is a full fledged worship band who’s ministry is specifically child targeted. The KC Band seeks to prepare the hearts of grade school aged children to receive God’s Truth through song prior to the main teaching and Small Group time in Kids’ Celebration.

Drama Ministry
There are many opportunities at High Point Church for those people who are gifted in the dramatic arts. Special skits and drama are used in the worship services, and seasonal presentations often offer opportunities for actors and actresses of all ages.

Technology Ministry
Technology plays a major role in today’s worship experiences. Audio, video, lights, computers, and PowerPoint are essential to helping the service to flow and keep our focus on God. Not only does this technical aspect help the entire congregation, we are blessed to have a set of people who look at this as a vital part of their personal ministry. Opportunities for serving include the worship services, concerts, weddings, conferences, and other special events as requested.
