At High Point Church, we love children.  We consider it a privilege to serve your family in a fun and spiritually enriching environment. We are grateful for the partnership of parents and volunteers who share in the calling to introduce kids to Christ and help them grow in their faith.

Sunday Morning Opportunities

Classes for all children ages birth through fifth grade are offered during both our Worship Celebration at 9:30 a.m. and our Bible Fellowships 10:50 a.m.

We make Sunday morning a fun learning experience where kids are energized and fulfilled through Bible-based ministry. Our classes are designed to connect with kids through unique and relevant teaching methods including centers, music, and drama. Ministry to each child comes to life through loving, trained volunteers who care deeply about helping each child grow in their faith and are committed to our ministry and your family.

Infant Nursery
High Point Church offers tender loving care for the youngest attendees of our church during both the Worship Celebration and the Bible Fellowships. The infant nursery is for children not yet walking, and  is staffed by trained adult volunteers. Our infant nursery is equipped with the perfect necessities for little ones from swings to mobiles to strollers, toys and cribs. With an adult to infant ratio of 1:3, our babies enjoy the close, personal nurturing they require.

Toddler Nursery
Parents of confidently walking toddlers can take great comfort in knowing that their child is receiving exceptional loving care in our toddler nursery while they enjoy Worship Celebration or an Adult Bible Fellowship. The toddler nursery is for “confident walkers” through age 2. Our toddler nursery is equipped with the perfect mix of fine motor & gross motor toys as well as toys encouraging parallel play, cooperative play, and plenty of board books. Our adult to toddler ratio is 1:4 which enables each of our adult volunteers to build meaningful relationships with each child and his/her family. Children move to the Two-Year-Old Room in the fall if they are age 2 by September 1.

Early Childhood (ages 2 - Kindergarten)
Children age 2  (by September 1) through completion of Kindergarten enjoy hands on Bible learning through a carefully sequenced curriculum specifically designed with your child’s age appropriate faith development in mind.  A trained and dedicated teaching team bring Biblical truth to life each week in a hands on multi-sensory approach to learning from God’s Word.  Children age 2 as of September 1, 2008 graduate from the Toddler Nursery to the Early Childhood Ministry.

Grade School (grades 1-5)
Children in First through Fifth grade enjoy two completely different learning formats offered during the Worship Celebration at 9:30 a.m. and during the Bible Fellowships at 10:50 a.m.  At 9:30 a.m., children attend Worship Celebration with their parents for the first portion of the worship service.  Just prior to the sermon,  children may leave the Sanctuary to attend the Sermon Series.

At 10:50 a.m. during the school year,  Kids’ Celebration kicks off with vibrant worship led by the KC Band.  Large format teaching and small group application of God’s Word take place as trained teachers and small group shepherds build a firm foundation centered on God’s Word in the life of each child each weeks. Kid's Celebration will be on summer hiatus June 20 - September 12. Kids will have the opportunity to study God's Word during the summer using the Discipleland curriculum.
